Welcome to my site! Here you will find my hand crafted art: memory boards, crochet, and more! I will also have links to other creative outlets, hand-made shops, and weboutiques.

A little background on me: I'm the proud mother of a two year old boy who is my life. I am married to my best friend who makes my life so much easier and better just by loving me. I am also a student working toward my degree in elementary education.

I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. I've always had a love for hand-made things, as well as a fascination for antiquated and old fashioned things. I'm naming this blogsite after one of my great aunts. I have always enjoyed being around people who are older than I am, and I spent quite a bit of time with my grandparents, great aunts, and other lovely ladies who have all influenced my admiration for times gone by. If more of us took the time to remember the more simple things in life, we'd all be better off. I think it is important in this ever changing fast-paced world of technology to remember that it all started by the work of someone's hands---not a robot in factory. There is nothing more thoughtufl than a hand-made gift, be it a crocheted blanket, a home-made salsa or jelly, or a hand-painted masterpeice.

Since I am blessed to have so many friends that are themselves creative, I want to feature their work as well as mine. Check back often as I will be adding new items, craft-show listings, and other links/information.
